Photo comment By Julio Sevilla: My Grandmother was the Concerge in 1950 until the mid fifties at La merced when it was school, she lived on the third floor which I understand is the roof, I recall entering the school and climbing the stairs to reach the living quarters. I was about 4-5 years old but I remember the classrooms and the masive clock that was in the directors office on the second floor. i still have my grandmothers identity card with her photo and a sequence of numbers printed on it.
