Puebla’s famous Patio de los Azulejos is part of the Casa de Ejercicios built (1771-90) beside the 17th century Oratorian church of La Concordia. The patio's walls are faced with colored tiles. Accenting the large first and second story windows, bright blue, green, yellow and red azulejos interplay in selected patterns to create a lavish display. |
